Dr. Rose Zacharias is a family physician with a hospital-based practice. For the last 20 years, she has practiced as an emergency department physician, a hospitalist and surgical assistant, primarily at Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital and now at Waypoint. She has just finished serving her term as the President of the Ontario Medical Association, representing over 40,000 physicians in the province of Ontario. She lives in Oro – Medonte, Ontario with her husband Rob and four teenagers who are her joy!
